… a sublimely intimate look at coquettish romanticism, sensual decadence, and seductive trappings. Through the renderings of flirtation, sensuality, and seduction this season seeks to marvel at the deep, passionate, and sometimes dark side of living art. (flirtation) is a rendezvous of frivolous sweetness for the loving mind; (sensuality) explores the passion of lust, longing, and love heard through the saxophone’s association with the sensual; and through the eyes of Eve, (seduction) gives us a glimpse at original sin and the devastating charms of the serpent.
This season’s focus on romantic pulchritude is heightened by the quiet sense of intimacy typically nurtured by two lovers, and developed through chamber music and the refinement of collaboration. Working with such guest artist groups as the AM/PM Sax Quartet, these concerts will prove to enliven the mind, tempt your sense of pathos, and create an absolutely stunning tempest of devastatingly beautiful artistry that scintillates and captivates through passionately crafted collaborations that influence and inspire various art forms, one to another.
Come get carried away with us; throw caution to the wind and give in with reckless, but albeit purposeful abandon!
