Myngoe Brashears, countertenor
Myngoe Brashears is a native of Amarillo, Texas and a graduate of Florida International University. Due to his vocal flexibility, Mr. Brashears has performed in multiple genres from classical works, to spirituals, gospel and jazz. His performances gained attention from Rosa Parks, Colin Powell, Nancy Wilson, Simon Carrington (King Singers), and Moses Hogan.
Mr. Brashears has performed throughout the United States and internationally from Mexico City, Mexico to Barcelona, Spain. He is a recurring vocal clinician for Amarillo College in Texas. He is also active as member and soloist with the Delray Beach Chorale in Delray Beach, Florida.
Currently, Mr. Brashears resides in Miami, Florida.
