Lilly Holtzman, artist
Lilly Holtzman is an artist currently residing in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Lilly graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education and concentrations in both painting and ceramics. Upon moving to Harrisburg after graduation, Lilly received her teaching license in Art Education. On her quest to teach art, Lilly serves as the Lead Coordinator of the Philhaven After School Program, a program specializing in the ongoing treatment and support of children with mental and/or behaviorial health issues. Besides treatment planning, Lilly coordinates therapeutic lessons with an art-based approach to assist children in learning positive social skills, impulse control, and coping skills. On Saturdays, Lilly works as a ceramics instructor for the Art Association of Harrisburg where she teaches children introductory handbuilding, wheelthrowing, and glazing techniques. Lilly continues her own education by practicing stained glass and creating oil paintings in her free time.
